Welcome to my blog.
Personally, I don't think I am a person of astronomical consequences. But, someday I want my life to be like what Jim Morrison said :
I see my self as a huge fiery comet, a shooting star.
Everyone stops, points up and gasps "Oh look at that!"
Then- whoosh, and I am gone....and they will never see any thing like it ever again....
and they wont be able to forget me- ever.

Thanks for coming!
Hope you have a pleasant stay here.

Nostalgia....

Its very beautiful here, where I live.
So many trees and plants.....what can I say.. Its like a mini forest here, with deer and rabbits being a common sight. I miss my camera. Sandy misses it too. We missed the snow...just in time for the spring- The cherry blossoms make such a beautiful picture..... and now the summer.
I wonder how hot it might be in chennai this year. I miss India...everything about it. The busy streets, the smell of the dust, soiled dresses and boots from rains, the overcrowded trains and busses, pan spots on white walls, The cacaphony of fighting crows...crows...crows...its strange...I don't find much of crows here. Its been weeks...may be months since I have spotted one.
I once heard from a family friend from Vietnam that crows are so popular in their local menu that you would find one in a zoo. I was surprised. Definitely people here would not have them for their meals... I am sure about it. When I was in school, there was a belief that you spot 2 mynah together and get one good hour. But beware. Spot a crow and you definitely have a bad hour. There were other nonsensical beliefs. Another foolish belief was catch a golden flower falling from the tree and you earn marks in exams. The more the number of flower caught..the more the marks....So much stupidity that I have seen people spending time catching falling flowers during exams than actually studying. I am sure it must have been for fun.
Ahhh....school days were indeed the best days of my life. College days were also good.....made some good friends...Time is flying so quickly....most of us are now living a blissfull married life.....some have stepped into the next stage - parenthood. I cannot believe its already been one year since my marriage to Sandy. I still blush at the thought of our brief romance before marriage...The long night calls....smses.....the frequent mobile recharging....In the short period of two months I must have given good business to Airtel. Every thing, every incident, every memory of "yesterday" seems so fresh as "today". I still feel so young. I hope that I remain that way forever...till I die...living life cherishing all the good memories of the past and dreaming about a happy future.
